Hestia 1Hestia arrived home from hunting to find the entire small village crowded among a small band of foreign men. It was an odd occurrence, to be sure. Traders came twice a year, but this was hardly the ideal or usual time. And this was everyoneeven the elders and young children who spoke only a few words of lowlander language. Everyone was listening with rapt attention. Educated as she was, Hestia recognized the crest of the king emblazoned on the pack the main speaker held. She'd been sent to a school in a valley about a week's travel off for a few years, until she'd becomeHestia 1

Blending InMy fate: housing doubt, insecurity. Locked inside. Dying to get out.Blending In
Knowing I gotta get out of here.
Giving up on doing this. I've failed.
I'm ready to get there. I admit that beauty makes life not fair.
I'm hostage to this mess. I ask you to give the key.
I'm out of here. I'm out of here.
And so are you.

To MeOh, the indignity! Assumptions have been made. All that they have said has filled me with shame. To Me

EscapeSlowly giving up. Slowly blending in. Doubt and insecurity might be the death of me. I'm begging you to escape.Escape
I'm deserving of this life sentence that I'm serving.
I'm a hostage: detained. But I ask you to give the key.
I'm out of here. I'm out of here. You saved my skin.

I know I'm sane. see, I'm sane enough to know I'm crazy, so I'm not completely crazy, but when i say I'm NOT crazy, then I'll have gone crazy, because I'll no longer be sane enough to know I'm going crazy.
I am better than normal! I am abnormal!
